Dark Lord of the CastleThe tall dark castle loomed over the black surface of the lake. Jonathan shivered, this couldn't end well. His faithful dog, always at his side, whimpered. A cold autumn wind blew and the leaves of the trees on the mountains moved. Grey storm clouds moved in the sky. There was no way back. Jonathan mounted his horse again. "Let's go ." The light of his small lantern shimmered on the lake's surface. Many times Jonathan thought he saw something blink. Were those lights actually…eyes? A few journals ago I mentioned I get to work in a kiddies farm, remember??
Well, this weekend is my second weekend of work in the stable with chickens and rabbits, and as it is there are two turkeys in there.
The chickens can walk outside, and I can hear the people on the path behind the coop from where I'm sitting inside of the stable.

So a family walks on the path, and the father, determined to learn his kids something, points to the turkeys and says proudly:
"And this is a peacock."( In dutch:EN dit is een pauw)
They all nod and then his wife says :
"It's an ugly one ,I think."(In Dutch: tis wel ne lelijke pauw)
Father is silent, thinks and yells:
"That's no peacock , it's a turkey of course!" (IN dutch: Ma da's geen pauw da's een kalkoen!)

I was snickering the whole time until the family came into the stable.

I smell like chicken and rabbits now.
